So a brand new year of reading is ahead of me, as I posted in the last entry my list is now settled for this the eight year of my challenge.
I have the plan of reading those books in no particular, just to read them.
However there is one small expection, the first 8 books are part of my side project I dubbed “6 months of Star Wars”. The plan was, and still is, to read only novels from the Star Wars Expanded Universe to gear myself up for the december release of Episode VII: The Force Awakens.
Thus far this little side project has gone fairly succesful. In total I have read 13 books.
So to keep things rolling here a quick recap of last year (Y-7)

Total of books read for (Y-7): 23 books
Longest book of (Y-7): A Storm of Swords by George R.R. Martin 973 pages
Shortest book of (Y-7): After Dark by Haruki Murakami 134 pages
Total pages for Lost in a million pages: 167,493 pages (this includes the things read until about half an hour ago)
So there you go, I have a lot of reading ahead of me. Right now I’m working on two Star Wars books. The Last Command by Timothy Zahn and Red Harvest by Joe Scheiber (zombies on the Star Wars universe, well somehow it works)
